Coverage & Additional Services

Travel MedEvac Insurance Benefits and Additional Services

Wherever you may travel, whether domestically or throughout the world, a Travel MedEvac premium medical evacuation plan may be the single most important coverage you should consider. Our plans offer Hospital of Choice Medical Evacuation coverage, several assistance services, and optional Travel Medical coverage as well.

Hospital of Choice Medical Evacuation Coverage ($500,000 policy limit)

Travel MedEvac brings you to your home hospital of choice if you are hospitalized while traveling or temporarily residing 150 miles or more from home and your condition warrants a medical evacuation. Travel MedEvac does not restrict medical evacuation to the "Nearest Adequate Facility" as other plans do. "Nearest Adequate Facility" limitations found in other plans could leave you far from home, in a foreign country, away from your doctors, your healthcare network and away from your family. Our 24/7 assistance provider will manage your medical evacuation utilizing a highly accredited global network of experienced air ambulance providers to bring you home.

Travel Medical Coverage Option ($100,000 policy limit)

Travel Medical Insurance protects you for emergency sickness and accident medical expenses, while traveling 150 miles or more from home. Traveling is fun and exciting, but unfortunately emergencies do happen, and having to cover the costs of a physician, hospitalization and required treatments can be overwhelming. While a medical evacuation can bring you to your home hospital of choice, hospitalization, doctor visits, x-rays and other medical expenses can be extensive and often not covered by your health insurance. Even if your health insurance provides some level of emergency medical coverage while traveling, large deductibles and limited coverage can leave you with significant out-of-pocket expenses. Add Travel Medical Coverage to protect yourself and travel with peace of mind.
